New York’s ‘80s art sensation-turned-composer Mark Kostabi recently received an unexpected 60th birthday gift.

Spies told Page Six that Kostabi was spotted at Shelly Fireman’s new USA Brooklyn Delicatessen in Midtown exclaiming to his producer pal Steve Garrin, “Now I can die! I just turned 60 and the day after my birthday Rosanne Cash [who lives across the street from Kostabi’s Chelsea townhouse] told me she loves hearing my piano music when I practice in the mornings.”

The artist joked, “I won’t be closing my art business anytime soon, which is doing better than ever, but maybe a few trips to Nashville would be in short order?”

We previously reported that Kostabi made his debut as an orchestral composer at Carnegie Hall last year. His albums have included, “I Did It Steinway,” and his brother was a founding member of White Zombie.

With his art in the collections of the Met, MoMA, and the Guggenheim, Art in America once called Kostabi: “Warhol’s heir apparent (or bastard child, take your pick).”
