North County Coalition for the Arts announced the recipients of its Artist Aid Grants. The grants are intended to financially assist local artists in the wake of the COVID pandemic, according to the release.
NoCCA awarded a total of $5,000 to the following local artists: Kimberly Alfaro Massey of Imperial, Elizabeth M. Ibarra of El Centro, who received $1,000 grants; and Jennifer Paez of Holtville, Luis G. Hernandez of Calexico, Allyson Derma of Brawley, and Miranda Montenegro, Santiago Godoy Jr., and Matthew Cooper, of El Centro, who received $500 grants.
The NoCCA Artist Aid Grant was made possible by local donations and funding from the California Arts Council.
