Meghan Markle latest news – ‘Out of touch’ Duchess HUMILIATED as ‘rubbish’ mentoring plan flops after ‘lect... - The US Sun

tapanggane.blogspot.com

SINCE leaving the Royal Family, Meghan Markle has embarked on a number of ventures she claims will help women around the world.

But her recently launched mentoring programme is just one of several that appears to have flopped, not because it isn't a worthy cause, but because the Duchess of Sussex made the project "all about her", an expert has claimed.

Meghan's idea was that famous and successful women give up 40 minutes of their time to help women adjust back into the workplace after a year of covid lockdowns made the experience less familiar.

But royal biographer Duncan Larcombe says the idea has not gone done well in the UK, where hardworking mothers aren't happy about Meghan lecturing them on returning to work from inside her $11 million mansion.

He told True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat: “It's great, she's doing that, she's just had a baby, and it's all about Meghan, and it's all rubbish frankly. It's gone down so badly in this country.

“This initiative is nonsense, she should be spending her time trying to build bridges with the very people that she and Harry have betrayed...That's what I think most people in this country believe," he added.

  • MEGHAN MARKLE’S MOTHER DORIA RAGLAND’S ‘ROYAL SPEED-DATING’ BEFORE DUCHESS WED HARRY

A relationship expert has said that Meghan’s mum Doria went “royal speed dating” as she was introduced to her new son-in-law Prince Harry’s family for the first time.

Relationship expert Anjula Mutanda said: “Meeting all the royals – Kate, William, Charles – must have felt like royal speed dating, ‘I’ve got to get to know everybody, I’ve got to form these connections really quickly.’”

  • PRINCE ANDREW ‘STICKING TO HIS GUNS’ OVER SEX CLAIMS AND IS ‘RELAXED ABOUT LAWSUIT’

PRINCE Andrew is to keep silent about the sex allegations against him and is said to be relaxed about the lawsuit he faces.

The Duke of York, 61, “has no intention” of changing course and is not sweating on Virginia Giuffre’s civil action launched last week, a pal says.

The friend in London said: “He has been cheerful and relaxed at Balmoral.

“His legal team always expected this and have prepared. They advised the Duke to keep calm and carry on and he is taking their advice.”

  • PRINCE ANDREW BEING TRACKED BY LAWYERS WHO ‘PLANNED TO AMBUSH HIM ON WINDSOR CASTLE HORSE RIDE’

Andrew, 61, was the subject of a civil lawsuit filed by Virginia Roberts Giuffre in the US claiming he assaulted her in New York, London and the Caribbean when she was 17.

    The prince denies the allegations.

Legal staff were waiting for Andrew to go on his regular horse ride at Windsor Castle just hours before the sex abuse allegations were filed, the Mirror reported.

They reportedly wanted to serve him court papers in person.

A source told the paper: “Virginia’s lawyers are under no illusions how difficult it is to get alongside the prince. They’ve been trying to speak to him for five years.

“Processors were on the ground on Monday when the papers were filed in Manhattan hoping to hand them to him if he went out on his horse. He could be at Balmoral for months without coming out.”

Under the Hague Convention, Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s legal team must give the papers to Andrew in person.

  • SARAH FERGUSON REVEALS QUEEN IS MORE OF A MOTHER TO HER THAN HER OWN MUM WAS

The Duchess of York said the Queen is her greatest mentor and has never faltered when it came to believing in her.

During her time on the Tea with Twiggy podcast, Fergie said she admires the way Her Majesty is so modern and flexible.

Fergie said: “I think to myself that honestly my mother-in-law has been more of a mother to me than my mother.

“I absolutely think there is no greater mentor because from a little girl to now, the consistency of Her Majesty has been a great honour and makes me want to cry.”

She added: “Because I went through so much pain losing mum, I lost my way and I became deeply deeply insecure.

“I kept asking everybody for advice. And I never trusted my own judgement of myself."

She said: “I absolutely admire the incredible way that her majesty is so modern- I know 95 and so modern.

"And how flexible and how understanding and how forgiving and how generous and humble and kind (she is.)”

  • HARRY WAS 'AWARE' ORLANDO BLOOM WAS IN 'THE PRINCE' AND 'SEEMED TO HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOUR' ABOUT IT', CREATOR CLAIMS

Prince Harry 'seemed to have a sense of humour' about HBO's, The Prince series, the creator claims.

Gary Janetti who put together the 12-part animated series appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen where he was asked a question by a fan.

The question was as to whether Orlando Bloom who voices the role of Harry had discussed his role with his friend Harry.

The creator replied, "I don't know if Harry has said anything to Orlando about it, but I know before the show premiered, he was aware that Orlando was doing it,' Janetti said. 'And he seemed to have a sense of humour about it."

  • MEGHAN MARKLE’S DAD THOMAS CLAIMS ‘SHE’S BEEN LYING FOR YEARS’

According to Thomas, Meghan’s alleged behaviour was new, claiming she didn’t have the capacity to lie before meeting her husband.

He said: “This is since Harry. Harry has influenced it.”

Referencing the interview, Thomas said: “Meghan and Harry are attacking the world. Attacking his 95-year-old grandmother is unforgivable.

“It’s embarrassing they are doing this, it’s embarrassing for them to be telling me a few years ago to ‘never talk to the press’, but then they spend hours on a show with Oprah.”

  • WITNESS PREPARED TO TESTIFY THAT HE SAW PRINCE ANDREW GROPING VIRGINIA ROBERTS

Steve Scully, Epstein’s former telecoms specialist, says he spotted the Duke kissing and grinding against a bikini-clad blonde by a pool “between 2001 and 2004”.

He insists the woman was Virginia — and is willing to give evidence in court for the first time.

Earlier this week 38-year-old Virginia filed a civil lawsuit in the US claiming Andrew assaulted her in New York, London and the Caribbean when she was 17.

Her lawyers were understood to want to speak to Steve, 71.

He told The Sun on Sunday: “I was working on the phone and he (Andrew) was by the pool with Virginia. As soon as I saw him, I recognised him.

“I thought, ‘If I had a camera in my bag right now, I’d have a $50,000 picture’.”

Steve says they were “bumping and grinding” for several minutes before lying on lounge chairs by the pool.

  • ROYAL FAMILY’S ‘REAL FEARS’ HARRY’S ‘£18M’ FOUR-BOOK DEAL COULD DESTABILISE THE MONARCHY

The Royal Family has expressed ‘very real fears’ that Harry’s new book could have a detrimental effect on the Royal Family.

By undermining the reputation of his father when he ascends the throne, there are deep concerns The Royal Family will not be looked at in the same way again.

The first of the four books is due to be released next year to mark the 25th anniversary of the death of his mother Princess Diana.

However, the release also coincides with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and there is worry that it could overshadow the Monarch’s celebration.

  • PRINCE ANDREW’S RAPE LAWSUIT IS LAST THING ‘EXASPERATED’ QUEEN NEEDS AFTER PRINCE PHILIP’S DEATH, SAYS ROYAL EXPERT

The monarch and her third child had dinner together a few nights ago at her retreat Balmoral Castle just hours after he was served US summons over allegations he abused a 17-year-old girl trafficked by paedo Jeffrey Epstein.

And while The Queen will be putting on a brave face, she will be feeling the heavy weight of the shocking allegations, Royal commentator and author Angela Levin told The Sun Online.

She said the ongoing scandal was the “last thing” the Queen needs following her beloved husband’s passing, with the Duke often described as her “rock”.

Ms Levin told The Sun Online: “It is very sad, she was wanting a nice, warm, family summer and its going to be difficult.”

  • ANDREW ADVISED "TO KEEP CALM, AND CARRY ON"

The Duke of York, 61, “has no intention” of changing course and is not sweating on Virginia Giuffre’s civil action launched last week, a pal says.

The friend in London said: “He has been cheerful and relaxed at Balmoral.

"His legal team always expected this and have prepared. They advised the Duke to keep calm and carry on and he is taking their advice.”

Virginia, 38, claims Andrew sexually abused her three times when she was under age, which he vehemently denies.

Andrew, who told the BBC’s Newsnight that he could not have been “sweating profusely” while with her — as has been claimed — due to a medical condition, has two weeks to respond to the complaint.

Questions have been asked about his legal strategy, with Princes Charles and William said to fear damage to the monarchy.

Royal sources called the response by Andrew’s team a “s***-show”.

  • HARRY SET FOR A RETURN

THE DUKE of Sussex is understood to be returning to the UK at the end of the year to visit the queen, with a film crew in tow, it has been reported.

The cameras will be filming the planning of the next Invictus Games for his upcoming Netflix deal which could be valued at £100 million, sources claim.

Harry's visit will include a stop off to meet his grandmother after giving a speech at a Nottinghamshire Army rehabilitation centre sources told the Sunday Express.

It is not known yet whether his visit will include speaking to his brother William following their disputes.

  • WITNESS SUPPORT

A witness is prepared to swear on oath that he saw Prince Andrew groping Virginia Giuffre on Jeffrey Epstein’s “paedo island”.

Steve Scully, Epstein’s former telecoms specialist, says he spotted the Duke kissing and grinding against a bikini-clad blonde by a pool “between 2001 and 2004”.

Meanwhile, the Duke will be served court papers in person, the lawyer for his sexual assault accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre has said.

The 61-year-old will be given them in Britain in a "difficult” feat that could take weeks, the American's legal team claimed.

They said that they needed to get them to the Royal before the start of the 21 days in which he will have to reply, with the first court hearing set for September.

Prince Andrew is said to be currently having ongoing crisis talks with lawyers by phone after joining the Queen at Balmoral supported by daughter Eugenie.

David Boies told The Telegraph: “We present him with a copy of the complaint in a formal way. Because he is a foreign citizen, we have to do this under the Hague Convention.”

  • PRINCESS BEATRICE’S CHILDREN WILL GET UNIQUE TITLES – BUT THEY WON’T BE FROM THE QUEEN

In May, Beatrice, 33, and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, announced they are having a child, and they will be the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild.

It is not expected that Her Majesty will give the newborn a title when they arrive, but they could get a unique one through Edoardo’s family.

Edoardo is actually an Italian count, so his children will also inherit a count or countess title.

Edoardo’s dad, Count Allessandro Mapelli Mozzi, explained to the Daily Mail: “Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation.

“He is a count, his wife will be a countess automatically and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna.”

  • PRINCE CHARLES ATTENDS HIGHLAND GAMES IN ABERDEENSHIRE

Prince Charles, attended the Highland Games in Aberdeenshire, sporting a kilt, walking stick and tweed jacket.

The future king was spotted out on a drive in the Scottish Highlands – before he faced crisis talks with other senior royals about his brother’s sex abuse lawsuit in the US.

The heir to the throne, 72, was behind the wheel of a Range Rover as he made his way past the Balmoral estate back to his own neighbouring Birkhall residence with just an aide for company.

The Prince of Wales had been touring Scotland as part of his latest round of royal engagements with his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and arrived at Birkhall on Thursday.

  • ‘DRAW A LINE UNDER AFFAIR’

It is understood that the donation idea was first suggested by Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, who said some of the money made by the BBC should go to Diana’s charities.

William is reportedly keen to continue investigating and “to see what comes out”.

But current director general Tim Davie is thought to believe that the donations could draw a line under the whole affair.

He has allegedly sent letters of unconditional apology to the Queen, Charles, William, Harry and Earl Spencer.

The letter reportedly includes the confession that “Martin Bashir employed lies and fake documents to gain access to the princess’ and that he ‘made a series of lurid and untrue claims”.

  • ROYAL SOURCES SAID TO BE INVOLVED ON HOW ‘GUILT MONEY’ FROM BBC WILL BE SPENT

An independent probe by former judge Lord Dyson concluded then-BBC news and current affairs boss Lord Tony Hall and other executives whitewashed concerns over how Bashir bagged the scoop in 1995.

He commissioned fake bank statements to persuade her that officials were being paid by MI5 and the media for information about her.

Royal sources are understood to be involved in deciding how the money from the BBC will be spent. It will be funded by BBC studios, the corporation’s commercial trading arm that is not funded by the tax payer.

Last night Diana’s close friend Rosa Monckton said: “This is an admirable decision, though obviously it cannot undo the damage that has been done or erase the BBC’s guilt.”

The decision to donate the money comes amid discussion initiated by the Duke of Cambridge, the BBC and palace bosses, the Mail claims.

  • GMB’S ALEX BERESFORD IS ‘EXHAUSTED’ BY PEOPLE ‘STILL TALKING ABOUT MEGHAN MARKLE’

The TV host took to social media to discuss the news that the Duchess of Sussex's half-brother Thomas Jr would appear on Big Brother VIP.

ITV presenter Alex, 40, took to Twitter to ask why people are "still talking" about Meghan as she and husband Prince Harry "get on with their lives".

"Man! Are we still talking about Meghan Markle whilst she is simultaneously getting on with her life?" he asked on Friday afternoon.

Alex continued to his followers: "In fact most are getting on with theirs, bar a few who want to keep the narrative going. Exhausting!"

He went on to slam Thomas Jr, concluding: "I hope her Big Brother thanks her for his Big Brother appearance fee."

Many of Alex's fans flocked to the comments to agree with him, clapping back against Thomas Jr for his comments about her on reality TV.

Under the Hague Convention, Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s legal team must give the papers to Andrew in person.

  • BBC SET TO ‘PAY £1.5MILLION IN ‘GUILT MONEY’ TO MAKE AMENDS FOR THE MARTIN BASHIR SCANDAL

The BBC is set to pay £1.5 million in “guilt money” to make amends for the Martin Bashir Scandal, it has been reported.

Cash from the donation will go to a charity of the Royal family’s choice.

The donation will include the money that the corporation made from selling the global rights to Bashir’s bombshell 1995 interview, the Mail on Sunday claims.

An inquiry by Lord Dyson back in May found that the journalist had used “deceitful methods” to obtain the interview that there had been a “woefully ineffective” internal investigation.

The damning inquiry revealed “rogue reporter” Bashir forged bank statements and spun wicked tales to win the vulnerable princess’s trust.

  • QUESTIONS ASKED ABOUT ANDREW’S LEGAL STRATEGY

Questions have been asked about his legal strategy, with Princes Charles and William said to fear damage to the monarchy.

Royal sources called the response by Andrew’s team a “s***-show”.

But the pal said: “The legal process could go on for years but that’s not his fault.

“He will respond if required to by law, as he has always said

“His lawyers saw what happened with the Newsnight interview and think it’s best he says as little as possible.”

  • ANDREW SAID TO BE HAVING ON GOING CRISIS TALKS WITH LAWYERS BY PHONE

Prince Andrew is said to be currently having ongoing crisis talks with lawyers by phone after joining the Queen at Balmoral supported by daughter Eugenie.

David Boies told The Telegraph: “We present him with a copy of the complaint in a formal way. Because he is a foreign citizen, we have to do this under the Hague Convention.”

Virginia Roberts Giuffre, 38, is suing Prince Andrew over allegations that he abused her at the disgraced financier’s Manhattan home, on his private Caribbean island, and at Ghislaine Maxwell’s home in London.

Her lawsuit comes over two years after Epstein, 66, was found dead in a New York jail awaiting trial for conspiracy and child sex trafficking charges. The Duke of York has always denied any allegations that he had sexual contact with Ms Giuffre or that he had any knowledge of Epstein’s wrongdoing.

Andrew is named as the only defendant in the 15-page suit, brought under New York state’s Child Victims Act, though Epstein and his former girlfriend Maxwell are mentioned frequently throughout.

  • MEGHAN MARKLE’S DAD THOMAS CLAIMS ‘SHE’S BEEN LYING FOR YEARS’ AND SHE CHANGED SINCE MEETING HARRY IN NEW INTERVIEW

The 77-year-old insisted that the Duchess of Sussex had been “lying for years” and that it was Prince Harry’s influence.

Thomas, who is yet to meet grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, made the shocking accusations during an interview with GB News.

Asked whether Meghan lied during the explosive interview with Oprah earlier this year, he said: “She lied. She’s been lying for years.

“Lying about the archbishop? How can you say ‘we’ve been married three days before we got married’?

“Her lies are so obvious, I don’t know why she says them.”

  • MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY ‘ATTACKING’ THE QUEEN IS ‘UNFORGIVABLE’ AND ’EMBARRASSING’, SAYS THOMAS

The 77-year-old, who is yet to meet grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, made the shocking statements during an interview with GB News.

He said: “For God’s sake. Attacking their 95-year-old grandmother is unforgiveable.

“None of the rest of the world deserves what they’ve been shovelling out. It’s embarrassing they are doing this.

“It’s embarrassing for them to be telling me a few years ago to ‘never talk to the press’, but then they spend three hours on a show with Oprah where Harry claims he’s reclaiming his mental illness and curing himself. It is a joke.

“You don’t go on the TV and talk for three hours and get rid of your mental illness, you talk to a psychiatrist in a room somewhere and you work out your problems.”
