Ozzy Osbourne is “doing good” as he continues to battle Parkinson’s disease, says wife Sharon.

The Black Sabbath frontman revealed in January he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s the previous year.

The condition affects the central nervous system and impacts movement and can cause shaking.

But Ozzy is fighting the good fight according to his Mrs Osbourne, and was due to receive specialist treatment in Switzerland before the coronavirus outbreak put the plans on the back burner.

The former X Factor star told ET Canada: “Unfortunately Switzerland closed all the borders. We’ll get there, though.

“Hopefully, we’ll get there later on in the summer. So, fingers crossed, everything crossed.”

She added: “He’s in good spirits, he’s doing good.”

The 67-year-old also discussed lockdown and coping with “cabin fever”.

“We’re all doing great because everybody in the family is well and we cannot complain. I just can’t complain”

She continued: “You know cabin fever, yes. Getting a little edgy with each other, yes! I’d love to go walk around a shopping mall for an hour. But that’ll happen.”

Asked how she copes with cabin fever and managing stress she said: “I go into my bedroom and sulk. I wish I could say I cook or do crafts but I go and sulk, or have another bath - I probably have three baths a day out of boredom.”

Meanwhile, son Jack Osbourne has been discussing a reboot of The Osbournes, the reality TV show which ran between 2002 and 2005.

Asked on the Variety and iHeart podcast The Big Ticket, Jack revealed it could happen, if the price is right.

He said: “I would be lying to say the conversations haven’t been coming up recently.

“I think nostalgia is such a huge, hot-button word right now. You look at all these shows coming back from 20 years ago.

“The only thing, and what I struggle with, is we don’t all live together. One thought I’ve had is, why don’t we all just move in together for two months? It’s 20 years later, we’re all moving back into the house together.”

Asked when it’s likely to happen, he candidly responded: “I guess when someone pays me a hell of a lot … because the amount of therapy I’m going to have to buy into after that is going to be monstrous.”
