Can’d Aid and Ball Corp. are seeking submissions from artists of all ages and skill levels. The winning artist’s work will be featured on Can’d Aid’s 12-ounce aluminum cans filled with clean drinking water.
Through Can’d Aid’s Water + Response program, this water will be shipped to communities in need in response to natural and human-made disasters. To date, more than 2 million cans have been shipped nationwide.
Can’d Aid water is packaged exclusively in infinitely recyclable aluminum cans in an effort to help eliminate single-use plastic waste. All artwork submitted should convey the importance of recycling, sustainability and the benefits of aluminum.
Entry is free and open to everyone. Eligible artwork must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. March 15. A panel of judges will select the top five artists. The general public will pick the grand prize winner through online voting April 5 to April 12. First place will be awarded $5,000 and artwork featured on Can’d Aid water cans; second place will be awarded $1,000 and third place will be awarded $500.
