The famed artist Donald Roberston (otherwise known as “Drawbertson,” as seen on his buzzy Instagram profile) has listed his sprawling California home for $9 million.
Also known as the “Andy Warhol of Instagram,” Robertson is saying goodbye to his pad in star-studded Montecito, which he purchased back in 2015 for just under $3 million.
He decided to list the property because the family needed “a boy-proof house” for their “two insane toddlers,” he told the Wall Street Journal, joking: “We’re looking for a kennel or an abandoned barracks.”
Occupying over 3,800 square feet, it was designed by Paul Fortune, who famously designed homes for Sofia Coppola and Marc Jacobs, and the landscape architect is Elizabeth Low.
Made up of four bedrooms and four baths, the Spanish-style home is situated on 1.3 acres, and boasts mountain and coastal views.
The mainly single-level floorplan embraces a “casual indoor/outdoor” lifestyle, the listing states. There is a detached studio that comes with the home as well.
Blocks from Miramar Beach, the raised ledge pool completes the home.
Eric Haskell, Amanda Lee and Blake Varga of The Agency hold the listing.
Roberston, 54, is also creative director for Estée Lauder, and has teamed up with everyone from J.Crew to Giles Deacon to Carine Roitfeld.
His whimsical pop art has attracted fans like Beyoncé and Sarah Jessica Parker.
