The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg will usher in the holiday season with its annual Holiday Mart from Friday through Sunday.

The Museum Shop will offer 10% savings on all regularly priced items, a Maker Meet and Greet, a curated selection of merchandise from the featured makers, live music and more.

Along with fine art items, Thanksgiving and Christmas decor and gift items will be available, said shop manager Dwi Bartlebaugh.

“We have a really good selection with lots of new and exciting merchandise,” she said.

A complimentary swag bag with gift wrapping essentials will be provided to shoppers making a purchase, while supplies last.

To shop during Holiday Mart, visitors will need to make an advance online reservation, wear a mask, practice social distancing and limit touching of merchandise. Walk-in shoppers may be accommodated if space allows, Bartlebaugh said.

Holiday Mart hours will be 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.

The Maker Meet and Greet will be 3-7 p.m. Friday. The makers’ merchandise will be available for purchase all weekend long. Artists on hand during the event will include:

• Jonathan Bolivar, Glass Bolivar — hand-blown glass pumpkins, ornaments and home goods.

• Kristin Lowe-Rebel, KLoRebel — hand-drawn and handcrafted artwork, designs, products and home goods. Artwork includes scenes of Pittsburgh and the Westmoreland County Courthouse.

• David Pearson, Once They Were Trees — wooden clocks, bowls, boxes, cutting/charcuterie boards, jewelry and ornaments.

• Florence Smith, Djoi Designs — handmade leather jewelry, handbags and clutches.

• Margaret Dorfman, Vegetable Parchment — handmade vegetable and fruit vessels, bowls, platters, jewelry and scarves. Dorfman will join virtually from her studio in California.

Bartlebaugh said shoppers can learn more about each artisan and their products through “Meet the Maker” blogs on The Westmoreland’s website.

Other vendors that will set up outside the museum include Lorraine Cahill, painted silk masks, scarves and fabrics; Wolf & Whisk Baked Goods, with a paint-your-own cookies kit; and Treecup Tea; featuring “buy a tea, plant a tree.”

Live holiday music will include:

• Heavenly Biscuits, 4- 7 p.m. Friday — power vocal duo featuring Lauren Condon and Vanessa Beggs.

• John Colby and Bev Rohlehr from The Colbys Band, 1-4 p.m. Saturday — Grammy and Emmy Award-winner John Colby (music director of ESPN ESPYs and NASCAR Awards) and Bev Rohlehr (featured in Persuasions, National Jazz Ensemble and Mel Lewis Orchestra).

• Stillwater, 1-4 p.m. Sunday.

For those unable to visit the museum in person, online shopping is available at thewestmorelandmuseumshop.com.
