Vanna White is open to the idea of getting inked by her tattoo artist daughter Giovanna “Gigi” Santo Pietro — and she already has a design in mind for when the time comes.
“You know what, I want to have matching hearts where she'll do a little heart on me and she'll do one on herself. I feel like I need to do that because it's her and it would be her on me,” the Wheel of Fortune co-host, 66, tells PEOPLE.
White admits that she “never dreamed” that her youngest — a New York University graduate with an art degree — would go on to become a tattoo artist, but she admires how far Gigi has come in her career.
“I said, ‘Gigi, why tattooing?" She goes, ‘Mom, my art is on someone's body for the rest of their lives.’ I was like, ‘That's pretty cool.’ You have to be so good and confident. You can't mess up. So she absolutely loves it. She's been doing that for the past three years and is doing a great job. I'm so, so proud of her,” she gushes.
Creativity runs in the family and White says Gigi’s art skills have “rubbed off” on her son Nicholas “Nikko” Pietro. (White shares her two children with ex-husband George Santo Pietro.)
“They're both artistic. Nico does artwork for fun. That's his escape from the real world, his real life is in real estate, which is good for him. So he's loving that as well.”

White is “thrilled” that her kids are pursuing their own endeavors, which is a testament to the encouragement they received growing up. “From the time they were born, I wanted them to do whatever they wanted to do in life,” she shares.
Despite 41 years (and counting!) of her being one of the most recognizable faces on television, White is also exploring her own projects, including a limited-edition Wheel of Fortune collection with Laura Geller Beauty (available on laurageller.com) created to destigmatize aging.
“Well, as you get older, I feel like you have to take care of yourself even more. When you're young, it's like, ‘Oh, I have my whole life.’ But I want to look the best that I can. Hopefully this is the start of something big,” she tells PEOPLE of why she decided to tackle her first-ever beauty partnership in her 60s.
