Linda Marie Kempe, formerly Marie Delaney, will unveil her unique style she calls “Flow Energy Art” through the month of April at Gallery-9.
From wearable fabric to paintings that jump off the canvas, Kempe creates a wide variety of art. For the past 20 years, she has developed and honed a style uniquely her own.
“My responsibility as an artist is to let go of preconception, and allow the art to create itself through me,” she said.
Her mediums are oil paints on canvas and board, along with eco-collage.
“My most important task while painting is letting go ... letting the painting be what it is meant to be,” she said, defining her process.
“That’s why I call it ‘Flow Energy Art.’ How I go about this is a moving target, and how well I achieve it is subjective.”
