Calling all artists.
The Sterling Heights Arts Commission is seeking applicants to submit their work for the City’s Featured Artist Program, which will showcase works of art completed by some of the area’s finest artists.
Those who are selected for the program will have their work on display for two months in a secured display case on the second level of the Sterling Heights Community Center.
The showcase has adjustable glass shelves that are six-feet high by nine feet wide.
In addition, selected artists may be featured in a video profile on the city’s cable station, SHTV, as well as social media outlets.
Applications are available in the community relations department, located on the lower level of City Hall at 40555 Utica Road or by visiting the city’s website at sterling-heights.net and searching “featured artist.”
Interested applicants can also call the community relations office at 586-446-2470.
