Tzedakah CampaignDovBer Marchette has explored unique ideas in the creative process for over 50 years. Trained at the Massachusetts College of Art and the California College of Arts and Crafts, DovBer became an influential success during the New Avant Garde period of the 60s and 70s. His work has remained popular, with exhibitions across the U.S. and Italy in recent years.
He continued to work until recent years when he was struck by a debilitating neurodegenerative disease (his doctor’s believe it is cortical basel degeneration, but the diagnosis is inconclusive). He later contracted COVID-19, which dramatically exacerbated his symptoms and made him totally dependent on care.
