TAMPA, Fla. — Beyonce is bringing her studio album released last July to life in Tampa, as the Renaissance World Tour gets a one-night showing at Raymond James Stadium Wednesday night.

A local artist is hoping to catch Beyonce’s attention with the giant mural he created honoring her life and work.
“I have a clue that she might know that it exists,” said artist Cam Parker. "I was telling my parents and telling some other people that if she even says the first two letters of the word mural, I'm going to pass out.”
Parker spent days painting on the side of the Stetson Professional Center on North Tampa Street, a mural he said he had envisioned for more than three years.
Parker says the mural has depth, and is not just getting quick looks from passerbys, but people stopping to examine what the artist has created to honor the life and work of Beyonce.
“She's a soundtrack to my life essentially, you know what I mean?” Parker said. “There are certain things that I've gone through and when I go back and listen to certain albums or certain songs, I'm like, 'I remember where I was when I first heard that.'”
The mural is located at 1703 N. Tampa St. It is not known if Beyonce will stop by to see Parker’s creation, but he’s staying optimistic.
She will be on stage Wednesday night at Raymond James Stadium for a one-night show, then will travel to Miami to continue her tour Friday.
