LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Mother's Day weekend tradition returned to Henderson.
The two-day Art Festival of Henderson featured over 100 artist booths and vendors along Water Street.
Artists at the festival had the opportunity to showcase crafts, fashion, home décor, jewelry, and more.
Festival goers experienced live art performances such as glassblowing and a chalk art gallery.

"This brings the community together. It brings the moms and families together; they can walk around, they can experience music, they can experience chalk artists, they can see different forms of art, and you never know what's going to inspire that one kid out there to be the next Picasso or whoever," said Chuck Ashby, special events and cultural arts supervisor.
The City of Henderson's next event will be a free Senior Health Fair on Friday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
